The Hollow Lantern

The Hollow Lantern is a slow-burn adventure that trusts you to explore. You wander a fog-covered town, poke at objects, and piece together a quiet, eerie story. The art is gorgeous and the sound design does a lot of heavy lifting.

Puzzles are logical rather than obscure — most of the time the solution is something you already saw but didn't connect. When we did get stuck, a hint system nudged without spoiling. All of it lives on the device, no downloads mid-game.

It took us about six hours to finish, and we thought about it afterward, which is the best compliment we can give. If you like atmosphere over action, this one's a keeper.
